If you are interested in the user-friendly nature of the everyday lens but require a little more telephoto range, the Nikon 18-105mm lens is perfect for you. The Nikon 18-105mm VR lens covers a wide to telephoto zoom range, making it suitable for landscapes and group shots, as well as tightly-cropped portraits and general-purpose snapshots. Despite this versatility, the lens is still compact and lightweight, so it will not look or feel out of place when mounted on your entry-level Nikon DSLR.

Confidence can never be over-valued, and the Nikon 18-105mm lens with its built-in VR stabiliser provides it in spades. Thanks to this feature and its 3.5 stops of blur-free shooting, you can explore the entire range of the lens, as well as keep shooting without a tripod when the sun hides behind a cloud, without stressing too much about the effect these constraints will have on your images. The Silent Wave Motor produces fast and quiet autofocus, so you can utilise the burst shooting and high-resolution video modes of your DSLR to great effect. ED glass and Aspherical lens elements have been used in the construction of this lens, producing high levels of detail and sharpness, and removing aberrations and distortions from your photographic life.
