Overview

The Fujifilm X-T3 features the new X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor and X-Processor 4 image processing engine to produce incredible still and 4K video images. The X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor is a back-illuminated APS-C sensor with more than 4 times the number of phase detection pixels than the X-T2. The new X-Processor 4 engine imprves processing speed about 3 times faster than that of the X-T2. The Fujifilm X-T3 inherits the X-T2’s popular ergonomic design but upgrades with higher contrast and wider viewing angle on the touchscreen panel. A headphone jack is provided on the camera body and the EVF’s diopter adjustment is lockable.

The Fujinon XF16-80mm f/4 R OIS WR is a compact, weather resistant 5x standard zoom lens that consists of 16 lens elements in 12 groups. This includes three aspherical lens elements, and one ED aspherical lens to effectively control field curvature and spherical aberrations giving advanced levels of sharpness across the frame. Its inner focus AF system uses a stepping motor to drive the focusing group of lens elements quietly and quickly. The powerful OIS has an effective correction of 6.0 stops.

I’ve been shooting with this for two weeks and the 425-point autofocus locks onto my kids faster than I can frame the shot, even indoors. The 4K video from that X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor is staggeringly detailed, and the 16-80mm lens covers everything from wide family shots to portraits without me swapp

Took this out for a weekend of hiking and the 16-80mm lens covered everything from wide landscapes to distant peaks without me ever swapping glass. The back-illuminated sensor handles harsh midday shadows surprisingly well, and I'm still blown away by how natural the skin tones look straight out of

The autofocus is lightning fast, which I noticed immediately shooting my kids’ soccer game—every frame was tack sharp. The 16-80mm lens covers just about everything I need without swapping glass, and the 4K video quality genuinely surprised me for a stills-first camera body.
