キヤノン EF 50mm f/1.2 L USM レンズ

The shallow depth of field at f/1.2 is unreal — it separates my subject from the background with such a creamy, smooth bokeh that even my entry-level shots look professional. It handles low-light like a champ, too.

The autofocus is fast and quiet, which made a huge difference during a recent indoor event where I was shooting in near-darkness. The f/1.2 aperture gives a genuinely shallow depth of field, but the lens is a bit heavier than I expected for a 50mm. Still, the image sharpness wide open is impressive.

The build quality feels solid and professional, and the contrast in my portraits is noticeably sharper than my old lens. My only minor gripe is the weight—it’s a bit hefty for casual walkaround shooting, but the image results are worth it.
